| Discovery Notes | MrGordo was found about an inch below moist soil in a flower bed. The flower bed was located about ten feet in front of the east entrance of the Agricultural and Biological Engineering building on Purdue's Campus. The temperature on the day of collection was 12.2 C and it was overcast. |
| Plaque Notes | Large plaques, approximately 5 mm in diameter. Circular, cloudy edges, clear center - outer ring formation. The outer rings developed more completely about 24 hours after the formation of the plaques. There was a large degree of variability in the plaque sizes (between 2 and 6 mm) and most of the plaques would form with bias towards one side of the plate. The plaques did keep a consistent morphology after the final purification round, but there was still variation in the plaque sizes. |
